Beginners full day (includes fishing permits & tackle)

Course Description:
We will be covering the following: Explanation of fishing tackle - Rods, reels, line AFTM ratings. Tackle set up, fly fishing knots and leaders. Floating / sinking line types and situations. Dry fly, wet fly, nymphs & lures. Grip and stance for successful casting. Overhead cast & roll cast. Shooting line. False Casting. Different types of retrieves, nymphs & dry fly. Figure of eight, Buzzer, Rolly Polly. How to hook, play and land fish. Side cast & reverse or backhand overhead and roll cast. Water craft and finding the fish. How to land a fish and dispatch humanely or return to the water.
