David Johnson

Peaks Fly Fishing is run by David Johnson a qualified, licensed fly fishing coach. David worked for 10 years in the music industry where fly fishing became an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

David then moved in to business as a Director of Operations for an outdoor education company before deciding it was time to combine his passion for fly fishing with work.

David has over 20 years experience in fly fishing in Derbyshire & South Yorkshire after learning as a youngster. He is always happy to be out on the water whether it be fishing for wild brown trout in the rivers and streams or chasing big rainbow trout from our large still waters. When not fishing David is an avid poultry keeper and also enjoys working his dog through the Autumn and Winter months.
