group and family fly fishing days

Family & group fly fishing lessons

Family and group fly fishing lessons are always great fun for everybody (including ourselves!) The focus is to have an exciting session outdoors enjoying beautiful scenery with your family, whilst still learning fly fishing and developing an understanding of techniques such as:

  • Tackle set up and selection
  • Casting
  • Fly selection
  • Playing and landing fish
  • Fish behavior and watercraft

We teach families, stag days and other groups all year round. Often groups will make a day of it with a meal or a drink in one of the local country pubs. Each member of the group can take one fish for the table (if you can catch them!). For those staying in the Peak District on holiday these will often end up on the BBQ at the end of the day so let us know if you need some recipe ideas!

For more information on your family or group fly fishing lessons or for a chat with one of our instructors, please give us a call on 01143 600 590 or email us.
