The River Frome rises in South Gloucestershire and flows for around 20 miles towards Bristol. The River Frome is a chalkstream and it’s rich aquatic habitat is perfect for fly life and aquatic creatures. This enables a good growth rate in fish and as such the Frome is noted for its large fish – particularly Grayling where record fish have been caught.

The best flies for the River Frome will be mainly Olives, Caddis & Mayfly with Terrestrial insect also featuring in the fishes diets. Many Anglers fish dry flies on the river Frome as this is often the convention on Chalk Streams however nymph fishing can be excellent where the rules allow, especially if fish can be stalked and targeted whilst feeding on nymphs.

Our flies for the River Frome are selected by Pro UK fly fishing guides and will be dispatched same day if ordered before Midday. You can buy our flies for the River Frome either directly on this page (below) or by clicking here to go to the main shop page.
