As a child my dad had a copy of Colin Wilcocks “The ABC of Fishing”. As a non-angler with a super keen fishing son this was his reference book to help him teach me during our fishing trips. The UK edition of Fishing For Dummies would be ideal for non-fishing parents who have children who are interest in going fishing. It covers fly fishing, coarse fishing and sea fishing. Techniques and tackle are carefully explained using non-jargon English. The book also contains lots of additional information such as boats, photography and cooking your catch.
