Driffield Beck is a rare in terms of English chalk streams as it’s located in the North of England. Located in Yorkshire, Driffield Beck runs from Elmswell through to Emmotland. Driffield Beck provides a rich chalk stream habitat and is often fished with fairly small dry flies by local anglers. Flies for Driffield Beck include the usual mix of Olives, Caddis & Terresttrial. It’s worth noting that there isn’t a Mayfly hatch on the Beck.
Whilst small dries do work well, great success is also had with Nymphs and Czech Nymphing can be a very successful method, particularly for the Grayling of which there are specimen size fish present.
All our flies for Driffield Beck are selected by our pro UK fly fishing guides and will be dispatched same day if ordered before Midday. You can order your flies for Driffield Beck directly on this blog post (below) of click here to go through to the main shop page.
