The water temperature is dropping and the trout are starting to come on the feed before turning their attention to spawning. We have had a great couple of days teaching fly fishing on the river, the surface sport is becoming more sporadic and fish have been down deep feeding around the rocks. This has been brilliant for clients having their fly fishing lesson in the Peak District as we have seen the effectivness of fishing deep heavy tungsten bugs and czech nymphs.
Recent fish include these lovley brown trout and grayling. If you would like further info on our fly fishing lessons in the Peak District then get in touch!
